Postdoctoral Position Available at KAIST
A postdoctoral position is available immediately for a talented and highly motivated individual to work on nanoscale materials and their applications. The research area includes molecular self assembling for multifunctional nanomaterials, carbon nanotube superlattice, nanoparticles & nanoparticle composites, liquid crystals, and biomembrane-protein complex. The successful candidates must hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science & Engineering or related disciplines. Expertise in soft matter chemistry/physics and familiarity with advanced characterization techniques (TEM, AFM and etc) are preferred. The appointment-beginning immediately-will be renewable on an annual basis and is anticipated for at least two years.
Our group is well conditioned for successful postdoctoral research (including good accessibility to advanced characterization tools in the laboratory and on campus). Especially, our group has strong expertise in neutron and x-ray scattering techniques, which are very powerful techniques to characterize structure and dynamics of nanomaterials, and has good accessibility to major international and domestic neutron and synchrotron x-ray facilities.
Please send a cover letter, CV with a complete list of publications, and contact information for two references to the email address below.
